At Ashbrook Equine Hospital, we have a separate, purpose built operating suite which is regularly used for routine and emergency operations.  Some of the operations we regularly undertake include routine orthopaedic procedures, wound treatments and colic operations. During surgical procedures, we are also able to use intra-operative radiography and use other diagnostic procedures required.

We have separate anaesthetic induction and recovery boxes which have specially designed foam and vinyl padding lining the walls and floor.  The recovery box is continually monitored by CCTV so if any horses become distressed then immediate and appropriate action can be taken.
